Upper Red Lake is a premier MINNESOTA ice fishing destination in Northern Minnesota, and is known for it's walleye, northern pike and jumbo perch!
New for the 2012-2013 ice fishing season, the slot on Red Lake walleyes has gained 3 inches (up from 17 to 20 inches). The protected slot limit is 20 to 26 inches with the possession limit remaining at 4 (only one larger than 26 inches).
